The HMR guide is in an easy to use digital format with quick access to any page or subject. Quick look buttons at the bottom for easy navigation.
Throughout the guide there are quick links to common needed reference material such as: NIOSH guide, Emergency Response Guide (ERG), ASK RAIL, Response for EV powered vehicles, PEL exposure limits, AEGLES values, and more...
The user will have a very quick & easy ability to develop a Plume model and plot it on a map for exposure and protective distance identification.
There are links to forms that are commonly used on hazardous materials incidents that are critical for not only use during the incident, but are critical to keep for future reference or training. Some of the forms available will be: Site Safety Plan, Chemical Reference worksheet, Employee Exposure form, Confined Space Entry Permit, Level A Entry form, Hazardous Materials Equipment Tracking (equipment used) form, Hazardous Incident After-Action Report, Spill calculator, Damaged Container Assessment form, and a few more. These forms can be filled out while working the incident for easy tracking.
One of the most important and useful function on this app will be; any form a person fills out or looks at (such as a chemical in NIOSH or a pg in the ERG, plotted Plume, equipment tracking etc...) will automatically be saved. Once the incident is terminated, a full report including all forms used or looked at can be generated as a hard copy or saved electronically. This is something that is critical in this day and age for legal reason, training reasons, or cost recovery for equipment used.
The Hazmat Response FOG App is a game-changing tool for hazardous materials responders and Hazmat Teams that rely on field operations guides. The app provides reliable, real-time support throughout an incident while enhancing accountability and documentation. Users can track research conducted during the response, complete Site Safety forms, document actions and observations, manage equipment accountability, and collect critical information as the incident unfolds. By capturing information in real time, the app eliminates the need to rely on memory after the incident and streamlines the development of comprehensive After Action Reports.
